I'm not entirely sure what I am looking at here. They claim it lets a little bit of light transmit through it. It almost looks like a woven metal fabric. But they also offer it in two colors which seems to preclude a metal mesh. Lacking better info I'll just point to their web page. If any readers know more we would love to have you comment on it.
The screen does allow light to filter through it and is made from a woven material. The material is not metal but has a metal look to it.
