The Grain Edit blog which is the source of many of the cool office interiors we've shown was a subject of Unplggd's Behind the Blog feature, where they look into the workplace of popular bloggers. Very appropriate since Grain Edit's designer interviews often includes a look at their studio space.
Grain Edit's is a live work space, with big glue laminated beams overhead - cool! The blog s focused on modern design from the 1950s-1970s and contemporary designers that draw inspiration from that time period. The furnishings also reflect that same sensibility.
The primary workstation is an "L" shaped ikea desk, with an off desk shelf on one of the legs of the L.
